The national emergency management agency (NEMA) has
informed that a helicopter fell into the water of lagoon at
the Oworonshoki area of Lagos.

12 people on board.

Ibrahim Farinloye, NEMA spokesman, has told that a
helicopter wrecked in a crash is yet to be identified.
“ We don’t know exactly what happened but we have called
the Nigerian mission control centre (NIMCC) to confirm the
distress signal. ” he said, adding that “ the centre will
ascertain this through the COSPAS-SARSAT, also known as
the beacon, which is a hi-tech satellite based equipment
made by Russia, USA and Canada for search and rescue
purposes. ”
According to Vanguard, three of those on board have
died while four injured ones were moved to the nearby
Gbagada General Hospital.
