SAD! Chelsea May Sack Jose Mourinho In The Coming Weeks see why

Chelsea’s Portuguese coach, Jose Mourinho, may be
close to the end of his second spell as manager in charge
of the English club.

This is coming on the heels of his team’s 3-0 loss to
Manchester City on Sunday, a result which has seen his
odds of becoming the next Premier League manager to be
sacked slashed massively.

Vanguard reports with reference to the odds released by
Betfair Sportsbook on Monday, that the one-time Inter
Milan of Italy tactician is now 7/1 second favourite,
previously 25/1, to leave his post behind Sunderland coach
Dick Advocaat.

Cheksea manager, Jose Mourinho knows that his job is on he
line if he fails to start getting the results soon.

In the opening weeks of this season’s EPL, the self-styled
‘Special One’ has had to also deal issues; first for demoting
first-team doctor Eva Carneiro after she had attended to
Eden Hazard in the dying minutes of the draw against
Garry Monk’s side last Saturday, and for the dismal
performance his team put up at the Etihad stadium on
Sunday.

The odds from Betfair have now suggested Mourinho could
be on his way out of Stamford Bridge if Chelsea do not get
their title defence back on track in the coming weeks.

According to Michael Bowers, Football Trader for
Betfair: “Jose is struggling to get off on the right foot this
season, after a poor game against Swansea and an even
poorer game against the new title favourites Manchester
City, he has gone from 25/1 to 7/1 second favourite as the
next manager to leave the market after heavy backing.

“The club will remain loyal to Mourinho for the time being,
but if the blues don’t start picking up some points after
four or five games, even The Special One could face the
chop.”

The Chelsea manager heaped the blame for the team’s loss on
sloppy defending by his players , an act which he believes they
were more culpable of in the second half of the game.
