Doctors in India, said that they operated on a 2-year-old
boy who was born with three sets of private parts, although
only one of them was in working order. The 2-year-old
boy made a successful recovery at the Sion Hospital. The
boy of Uttar Pradesh, was brought by his mother to
Mumbai for treatment.
WWWN reports that Dr. Paras Kothari, the head of
pediatric surgery at the hospital, said that the boy was born
with three sets of private parts, but only one was in full
working order. The three manhoods were attached to a huge
mass of soft tissue.
Two years ago, doctors had created an incision in the lower
left side of his stomach in a procedure called a colostomy for
waste to pass through a tube. Doctors said that only a
hundred such cases were reported in medical literature over
the past 500 years. Doctors believe that the child’s s*xual
function and fertility will be normal.
