The rerun elections of Saturday in Rivers state that was marred by violence and killings has continued to throw up more dust around what transpired in the exercise that was declared inconclusive by INEC.

A video has surfaced online, and on a video sharing platform, YouTube showing a candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the reruns, Azubuike Nwajoku who stormed an INEC collation centre, purportedly in Ikwerre Local Government Area demanding for his money, from one of the officials, whose identity was unknown.

Though audio on the video is poor, Nwajoku can be clearly heard confronting the official in the full glare of all, and to the amazement of those present, including security and INEC officials, as well as party agents, demanding ‘where is my money’.

The confrontation by Nwajoku and his supporter caused some stir, and commotion, which created a tensed atmosphere, but the situation is later brought under control, as he and his supporters are persuaded to leave the premises, by security and INEC officials.

Nwajoku, was contesting under the APC for a seat in the Rivers State House of Assembly.

The incidence purportedly took place on Sunday morning of March 20, 2016 after results had started trickling in.
