The Mirror reports that some ISIS terrorists have murdered an Indian priest who was kidnapped by the jihadis earlier this month.
The priest, Father Tom Uzhunnalil, was allegedly seized when four armed militants stormed an old people’s home in Aden in Yemen on March 4 and was crucified on Easter Day to mock the Christians.
Father Tom was murdered by the terrorists as a way of mocking Christians.
Washington Times reports that the priest’s murder has been confirmed at the Easter Vigil Mass by Cardinal Christoph Schonborn of Vienna, claiming that the gunmen killed 16 people, including four nuns, in the brutal attack.
The Franciscan Sisters of Siessen had last week, posted on Facebook, reports that the Salesian priest would be crucified in a brutal murder on Good Friday.
Although no group has come forward to claim responsibility for the priest’s kidnap and subsequent murder, a survivor said ISIS was to blame, while the Indian government’s Ministry of External Affairs vowed it would leave “no stone unturned” in its bid to find the missing priest before it was too late.
The Franciscan Sisters of Siessen had posted last week that, they were “informed that the Salesian priest, Fr.Tom who was kidnapped by ISIS from the Missionaries of Charity Home in Yemen is being tortured and is going to be crucified on Good Friday.
“This calls for serious concerted prayers from all of us.”
