A massive manhunt by Belgium police to arrest suspects in connection with the Brussels airport attack has led to the arrest of six people.
According to the federal prosecutors office in Belgium, the arrests took place in the Brussels neighbourhoods of Schaerbeek and Jette, as well as in the centre of the Belgian capital.
The arrests are coming as questions mounted about possible security lapses with France saying it has foiled separate attack plot in the northern Paris suburb.
The prosecutor’s office said Judicial authorities will decide on Friday whether they should be charged as no information about the identities of those arrested was released.
