The suspected killers of Colonel Anthony Okeyim, the Commandant of the Command Secondary School, Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State have been arrested with an old student of the school among them.
Okeyim was strangled to death last December and his body was found in the school area.
Antigha, Deputy Director, Public Relations, 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, Ibadan, while parading the suspected killers in Ibadan, Oyo State on Wednesday, revealed that one of the suspects is a former student of the school that was expelled for stealing.
Colonel Tiomothy Antigha revealed further that one of the suspects was nabbed after using the Samsung X4 phone of the deceased to make calls and surf the internet.
The suspects confessed to have gone to the commandant’s premises within the school compound to rob and kill him last year December.
Antigha disclosed that the expelled student was the main mastermind of the murder as he gave his fellow culprits the necessary information needed to carry out the evil operation.
All the paraded suspects will soon be arraigned in court.
