A bizarre picture of two snakes eating each other has
recently surfaced online, leaving animal experts baffled
and ordinary Internet users shocked.

A scary photo was taken by Geoff Mitchell
three weeks ago on the side of a road in Griffith, New
South Wales, Australia. The reptiles were apparently
fighting to death and unfortunately none of them won…
The man said: “I saw a tangle of snakes and got up to
have a look, grabbed my camera and took a
picture. I’ve thought about it quite a lot, I had to
research it.
What is going on in this picture?’
It seems quite common for brown snakes to eat black
snakes but I have seen none where one snake has
punched a hole through another. I don’t think the black
snake could have done it itself, I think maybe something
may have helped it get out.”
Even though a black snake is seen eating it way out
of it’s rival body, the situation remains unclear. And
even experts at Australia zoo can’t tell for
sure who was the prey and who was the attacker in
a deadly battle.
The two snakes are fighting with each other in front of
shocked onlookers in Singapore several months ago
“Wow! This is certainly unusual and we have not seen
this before. We can’t imagine a black snake climbing
into another snake but this entire situation is very
strange. We would still suggest that the brown one was
eating the black, but we will never know for sure,” they
said.
