One of the 100 suspected Boko Haram terrorists declared wanted recently by the Nigerian Army has been apprehended at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, in Abuja.

This good news was announced moments ago by the
Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel
Sani Kukasheka Usman, in a press statement sent to Us.



According to the statement, the apprehended terrorist,
Chindo Bello, was caught by Aviation Security today,
November 8, as he was boarding Aero Contractors’
Airline flight to Lagos.
It was added that the suspect has since been handed
over to the military intelligence for interrogation and
prosecution.

The statement added: “We would like to thank those eagle
eyed and patriotic security agents and good citizens for the
tip off that led to the arrest of the suspect.
“The Nigerian Army would like to reiterate the need for all
well meaning Nigerians and those residing in our great
country to be more vigilant and assist security agencies
with information about the declared wanted terrorists, their
sponsors and other criminals in our midst.”

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur
Buratai, had on October 28, launched the circulation
of large posters carrying photographs of wanted Boko
Haram insurgents including the alleged leader of the
insurgents, Abubakar Shekau.
