An unidentified man was shot in the head by suspected cultists at Titogate, a very busy area along Kashim Ibrahim road in Makurdi, Benue State yesterday July 3rd.
Eyewitnesses told Benue.com.ng that the deceased came to the area at about 6pm to purchase a phone when two gunmen on motorcycle approached and shot him in the head. He died instantly.
It is believed that the killing of the young man was a reprisal attack by a cult group. This sad incident comes days after another young man was killed by suspected gunmen last Friday July 1st.
